Sizing Information

The fit of Alpinestars gloves are very consistent from one model to the next. And overall, they fit a bit small as compared to other brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, etc. It’s not enough to recommend that you buy a larger size (especially if a snug fit is preferred) but it is noticeable enough to say that if you are sometimes between sizes, then you should probably choose the larger of the two. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

When I tried these on for our photo shoot, I immediately liked them. The gloves fit very well and are pre-curved to the riding position, and therefore feel really natural. Parts of this glove are taken from some of Alpinestars racing gloves… for example the hard plastic slider in the palm area (designed to slide rather than grab when your hand hits the ground at speed), and the molded knuckle protection. Also there is race technology in the pinkie finger area. The third and fourth fingers are tied together to help prevent damage to the smallest and most delicate finger, and on the outside of the pinkie there is extra leather and a small plastic impact protector. The fingers are assembled with external seams which is much more comfortable than internally sewn fingers. But what I really liked about this glove is the part-gauntlet design. There is enough of a gauntlet to give some coverage to the outer wrist and to give you something to grab onto to put the gloves on, but not enough to interfere with your jacket sleeves. These gloves will still be easy-on/off and so I think street riders of all kinds will really like this style. I’m also a fan of the new hot color combos. Sharp. :: Paul, 09-11-13
