Sizing Information

We find that gloves from REV’IT! are generally very consistent in fit from one model to the next, and we find they run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Anderson H2O glove is very similar to the new Chevak GTX gloves. Both are a lighter weight, less feature laden winter glove with a simple style. The Anderson is $20 less than the Chevak because it uses a hydratex® brand liner to make it waterproof and the Chevak uses GoreTex brand. So if your needs for waterproofing are not extreme, then you can save a few bucks and have yourself a nice glove from REVIT for just under a hundred bucks.

This style will be great for those who dress for the street rather than the bike. The Anderson has the features found on other gauntlet gloves by REVIT such as the integral waterproof liner and a hidden molded knuckle protector, but the overall styling is much like a everyday winter glove.

The palm side is black leather and the back of the hand is typical textile material. Reflective patches are worked into the design, but they are subtle. Nevertheless, you’ll be better seen at night.

There is a bit of energy absorbing foam in the heel of the hand and there is soft sueded material on the side of each finger designed for wiping your shield. Like other gauntlet winter gloves, this one has a Velcro adjuster so you can work the gauntlet over or under your jacket sleeve (depending on your jacket design). At the wrist is a simple Velcro strap to secure the glove on your wrist.

The overall level of insulation is moderate so I’m thinking fall and spring and if you are warm blooded, perhaps even cold winter weather. The inside of the gloves are lined with a comfy short pile fleece. :: Paul, 10-12-18

REVIT says: The Anderson H2O gloves have been engineered with the urban commuter in mind; an urban commuter that needs a heavy-duty pair of hand protection to keep them warm and protected. The combination of textile and leather gives it its classy good looks, while a hydratex®|Z-liner membrane gives it its waterproofing characteristics.
