We checked out the sizing of these jackets in our offices and find the chart above to be reasonably accurate. Please be sure to check your belly measurements also. Belly sizes should not be bigger than the chest minus 6”. For example, if you choose a size XL your belly should not be bigger than 40 to 42 inches.
Our Two Cents
The Twist of Fate Textile Jacket offers sharp styling in an otherwise fairly simple design. This jacket is a solid textile jacket which comes with molded CE armor in the shoulders and elbows and a dual density foam back pad. There is also two molded plastic armor pieces on the outside of the jacket at the shoulders and one molded piece on the back just below the collar. These look sharp and might offer some additional impact protection, but largely I think they are for looks. For ventilation there are two bicep vents, two shoulder vents and two larger rear exhaust vents. For warmth in colder weather, you can use the removable vest-type thermal liner. I’d recommend this jacket for hot to cool riding conditions. The ventilation is pretty extensive, but I think its climate control features for cold weather are a bit limited. Overall, a very nice design which looks nice and is comfortable. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see close-up pictures of this jacket’s features.
