Sizing Information

The Awe pants are sold in “alpha” sizes. Please use the chart below to choose a pant based upon your waist and inseam. These pants have a trim, sport cut and would not work well as overpants, so plan on using this style “stand alone” over underwear.

Size Waist Inseam
S 30-31 33
M 32-33 33
L 34-35 34
XL 36-37 34
XXL 38-39 35
XXXL 40-41 35

Our Two Cents

The Awe pants are definitely something a little different. The pants are cut very much like leather sport pants. They are more sport oriented and cut more trim than either textile pants or overpants. They are heavily reinforced with leather in the knees and in the seat. The hips have some pretty substantial “squishy foam” type armor and the knees include CE molded rubber style armor pieces. The pants have a short zipper at the ankle with a Velcro adjustment. They could be used over boots or shoes or tucked into racing/sport boots. Scorpion boasts a 4 Season Climate Control system, but I’d say 3 seasons. Definitely good for cold and/or wet conditions, and they’d be OK in mild or slightly warm weather, but I think they’d be cookers on a really hot day. The pants come with a removable waterproof liner to keep you dry in the rain and a removable EverHeat Thermoliner to keep you warm down to low temperatures. Both seem to be well constructed and I’m sure they will do a good job. Stretch Kevlar panels are added above the knee and behind the waist in the back, and there is some stretchy material in the crotch area. These features are essential in a sport cut pant like this for mobility. For anyone that rides at night, there is also a good amount of night visability with reflective logos on the thigh and the lower back. Overall I really like these pants for their style and ruggedness. They look great with the Scorpion jackets as well. For a closer look, take the “View Larger Pictures” tour above.
