Joe Rocket Street Vest

This vest is sold in alpha sizes. This vest is pretty true to size but it runs just large enough to wear it over a jacket. You can order the size that you would normally buy in men’s clothing, and we have also listed the vest’s actual measurements below to give you the idea that they are made large enough to wear over other clothing/jackets.

The Street Vest is made from a nylon shell with reflective stripes on the outside of the belly and back; it also has reflective piping across the shoulders. This vest runs just large enough that you could layer it over a jacket for extra visibility or you could wear it as a stand alone and use the waist adjustments for a more custom fit. It comes with a nice spine pad that will provide you with some good protection in case of a fall, or you could remove the spine pad if you are wearing this over a jacket that has a back protector. I’m not sure exactly what Joe Rocket had in mind for this vest. It’s reflective, but not a bright color and not “military spec” like others we sell. It’s over-sized to wear over another jacket, but it’s a solid textile design which would not allow airflow through to whatever you are wearing underneath. And it has a back protector, which you might find appealing if you weren’t wearing this over another protective jacket, but then you don’t have elbow or shoulder armor. Hmmmmm… I’m baffled.
