FirstGear Magnum Textile Jacket

The Magnum jacket covers the bases for the touring/street rider. You get comfort and convenience features in a well styled package. FirstGear has been offering jackets with its patented Cargo Storage system; this is a series of pockets and storage features on the front of the jacket that will let you neatly store a variety of items—wallet, phone, keys, etc. And the storage pocket itself secures with water resistant zippers to help keep the contents dry. You get two large zippered hand warmer pockets on the front as well. This jacket features a very nice removable full-sleeve liner for use in cold weather. But it also has large front torso vents, biceps vents and a large rear exhaust vent which can help you stay comfortable when it warms up. I’m a fan of FirstGear’s overall quality of products. They’re about 10% more than others, but worth it in my book. These full featured jackets have a lot of zippers, snaps, buttons, seams, etc and you need a well made product to prevent aggravating malfunctions when you travel. For crash protection, the jacket comes with a full complement of armor in the shoulders, elbows and back.
