Our Two Cents

The Power Glide is a very nice, comfortable leather jacket with a relaxed fit that should work very well for a variety of riders. Constructed from soft milled cowhide, the Power Glide is very soft and comfortable right out of the package, and should get even better with break in. Shoulder gussets behind each arm allow for good freedom of motion and allow you to sit in the riding position in comfort. Waist adjustment belts allow you to customize the fit to your body type. The Power Glide jacket comes with a vest type insulated liner which should do a good job keeping you warm in the cooler months. When things warm up, the liner can be removed and large vents on the front and back of the torso, as well as on the arms, can be unzipped to allow a good amount of airflow. This jacket has a very high quality feel to it, and should last a very long time. The 1.2mm leather should also hold up well in a crash. Although no armor is included with the jacket, there are pockets which allow you to install Joe Rocket armor if you want some additional protection (see below). We have taken several pictures of the Power Glide jacket here in our studio, so be sure to click the “View Larger Images” link above to check them out.

Back Protection: In case you were interested in adding back protection to this jacket, we checked a variety of back protectors to see if they would fit the pocket in the lining of this jacket. We scored with the Sas-Tec. It fits very well. Take the link below.
