Hmmmm, well I’m not sure how I feel about the name of this product…. I don’t really think Strip Search and gloves ought to be used to name a product unless we are talking about latex.. and heavy-duty latex at that, but ANYWHO… on to the product review! These gloves are a short cuff all leather design that are made much like patrol gloves, but have some extra protection built in for the knuckles and the heel of the hand. I’m OK with them overall, but I don’t like how the backs of the fingers are constructed. If you look at the close-up photos (take the “view larger images” link above), you’ll see that the backs of the fingers are cut weird and are sort of off-center which puts the seams right on the knuckles that will be flexed when wearing the gloves, and when the fingers are straightened they pucker up sort of oddly. I thought it might be the pair I had for the photo shoot, but the factory photo looks just the same.. Why would they do that? I dunno. If you want a pair, we’ll hook you up for sure, but we have PLENTY of other black, short-cuff patrol-type gloves on the site without the peculiar finger seams. :: Paul, 11-13-12
