Sizing Information

We tried the size Medium in this jacket on Huey and we put an XL jacket on Dewey. These are the sizes they normally wear and both fit great. The jackets are roomy. My primary advice would be to wear the size you normally wear in men’s clothing. If you are between sizes I’d advise you to go down.

The chart provided by Speed and Strength shows chest sizes for each alpha size that are a bit larger than what you’d normally see for “standard” conversions from chest size to alpha size. Based on my observations (above), the chart seems just about right.

Size Small Medium Large XL 2XL 3XL
Chest 38-40 40-42 42-45 46-48 49-52 53-56
Sleeve 33 34 35 1/2 36 1/2 37 37 1/2

Our Two Cents

The Seven Sins jacket by Speed and Strength uses solid and perforated leather with a tough textile fabric. I personally like these “combo” jackets. You get the “cool factor” of a leather jacket, but the use of the textile adds to the comfort factor and reduces the weight. This jacket is pretty light weight and is comfortable to wear. The plain collar with the neoprene trim is roomy which gives you a lot of freedom of motion. The leather on the front of the jacket is partially perforated which will offer a lot of air flow, so I think you’ll find this jacket to be comfortable in all but the hottest conditions. Having some perforations and its use of textile materials lessens the need for zippered venting systems and such. For cooler weather use, you’ll need to use some of your own under layer garments. We have a good selection of these in our Underwear, Visibility and Misc. department if you are in need. For crash protection, you get C.E. approved armor from Knox for the shoulders and elbows, along with a foam back pad.
