The toe box of Sidi race boots is more round and it allows a person to wear a shorter boot without crowding the toes. Calf sizes are also generous so you can wear the boots with pant legs tucked in.

Our previous comments on this boot: You asked for it, and once again Sidi has delivered! The new B-2 Gore-Tex offers the best waterproof membrane available in a race inspired boot for the street. Gore-Tex has long been known as the best fabric to keep water out while remaining breathable. The membrane in the B-2 Gore-Tex covers the entire boot, all the way to the very top. The B-2 boots are a great blend of protection and practicality. They offer a lot of the same advanced features of the top of the line race boots, without the complicated retention systems that can make it a real chore to get boots on and off. Instead, the B-2’s simply have a zipper and Velcro closure system, which makes it much easier to get them on and off. The B-2’s do offer toe and ankle sliders though, as well as other race inspired features. The Vertebra Achilles protection system is very comfortable and looks like it would work very well. It basically consists of armor panels at the back of the calf and ankle which are hinged for flexibility.
