Sizing Information
These gloves run small, just a bit snug for the size I normally wear. If you are in between sizes, I would definitely say go up a size. If you are comfortable with a tight fitting glove, then choose the size you normally wear.
Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents
First of all, yes… it is spelled “Abiss.” My best guess (after some googling) is that it is a hybrid of the English word “Abyss”, and the Italian “Abisso,” of the same definition. Maybe a hint at the conditions you could ride through with these gloves? ...with that out of the way, what a deal! These gloves are a great cold weather glove perfect for those wet, cold days. Sidi claims these to be their warmest glove, using three layers to lock in warmth. One of those layers is a Hipora liner which is completely waterproof, yet allows inner moisture to evaporate out, keeping your hands warm and dry. This liner does give this glove a bit of a “crinkly” feeling, almost as if there is a bit of plastic or rubber in the fingers. It’s not enough to be a nuisance, and you would never notice it while riding, but it’s there. The palms of these gloves are a leather suede which is very soft to the touch and provides excellent grip and feedback from the controls. The full gauntlet on this glove is essential for weather protection, as it overlaps your jacket sleeves to keep the elements out. There is an expansion zipper on the gauntlet to accommodate bulky jackets or big wrists. A Velcro strap secures the gloves to your hands at the base of the wrist. One feature I really like about these gloves is the extensive use of reflective materials. There are two prominent reflective stripes on the back of the hand and the entire side of the pinky is reflective also. Helpful for night riding or riding during inclement weather. There is minimal padding on the back of the hand, but the Cordura backing and leather palm should provide adequate abrasion resistance.
