This vest fits about like we’d expect for “normal” US men’s sizing. We measured a selection of sizes and also tried these on our fit test mannequins. Huey is wearing a medium and Dewey is in the XL. These are the sizes they normally wear. The fit is looks good.
I’d advise to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing. To make size selection easier, we’ve developed the chart below to help you choose a size based upon your chest and belly measurements. If you have a bit of a belly, just make sure that the vest you choose will be big enough for both your chest and belly.
Note: if you plan to add a back protector to this jacket, then add 1” to the chest/belly measurements before choosing a size.

Our Two Cents
The Colt leather vest is far and away the highest quality leather vest we sell (and the most expensive). The leather is the same as that used in Roland Sands high end jackets.
Less expensive leathers have a more “embossed” or “grainy” finish to the leather, but the Airborne leather used in this vest has a smooth, soft, high quality finish on it. Its the kind of leather that looks better and better with lots of use. The vest is lined with a flashy satin material and trimmed out on the inside with matching perforated leather. Notice the vertical quilting on the upper chest and on the kidney belt area in back. It gives some added style and a slightly retro feel.
Outside there are four zip pockets and two more inside zip pockets. the main zipper is a “two way” zip meaning you can zip up from the bottom if the vest wants to wrinkle up between your neck and your lap and/or to let some air in the bottom. Air flow probably won’t be a big issue with a vest, but its there if you need it.
The sides of the vest are fitted with elasticated leather panels, so you’ll be able layer underneath or eat big and your vest will make some room for you.
You can add a back protector to this vest. There is a pocket in the liner to hold it in place (take the link below to purchase). Also, this vest has a long zip hidden down low in back to allow a seamstress to add your club colors on the back of the vest without a hassle. Overall a very nice vest!:: Paul, 03-20-18
