River Road Vagabond Jacket

These jackets are sold by chest size. Choose the size that corresponds with your chest measurement (or suit coat size if you know it). We tried these jackets on our test subjects and got a great fit. The overall cut of these jackets is only slightly tapered so waist/belly size shouldn’t be a concern for most. We’ve listed some estimated max belly sizes in the chart below to help with that. If you have a bit of a belly, then just make sure that your belly size does not exceed the max belly size of the jacket you are choosing.

The Vagabond jacket from River Road offers vintage style with a bit of extra pizazz. The overall styling with its dark brown leather and cream stripe across the chest makes this jacket look and feel like a jacket that has been enjoyed for many years. The jacket is very soft and pliable without any breaking in. It is the kind of jacket that will look better and better the more it is used. This particular style adds the parallel quilting to the shoulders and sleeves for just a bit of sporty styling. This jacket features a fully sleeved insulated liner for cooler weather rides, which is removable when things warm up. A solid leather jacket like this will work well for cold weather use to mild or warm weather. The jacket has two zippered vents on the chest and two in the rear which will help extend the comfort range when things warm up. The jacket has the usual assortment of pockets…. two hand warmer pockets, an interior wallet pocket, and a couple more pockets on the insulated liner. The same pockets that are on the removable liner are also on the jacket’s liner, so you can use the same pocket arrangement with the thermal liner either in or out.
