Sizing Information

We’ve found that some REV’IT! sport gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands… much like Alpinestars. This glove is not so snug that I’d recommend you buy one size larger than normal, but certainly if you are between sizes, then choosing the larger of the two should work. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help

Our Two Cents

I really like the Curb Glove from REV’IT! This is a short cuff glove which is convenient and comfortable for any type of street riding, but it has the protective features and sharp styling you often see in race gloves. The knuckle area and the backs of the fingers are protected with molded carbon fiber pieces. These are sturdy and well made. Also, like many race styles, the gloves have a hard plastic “slider” positioned on the heel of the hand and also another smaller slider on the outside of the little finger. These are the areas you are most likely to impact in case of a fall, and the hard plastic pieces will spread out the impact and also cause your hand to slide rather than “catch” or “roll” upon impact. The fingers of the gloves are externally stitched which is the most comfortable type of finger construction since the edges of the leather are not against your fingers on the inside, but rather they are on the outside. The gloves are a combination of goat and cowhide and are very comfortable. The solid leather gloves will work best in mild/cool/warm weather which will cover a good deal of the riding season (depending on your location and preference of course). We’ve got some good close-up photos that show you the various features of the glove. For the retail price of $119, I think these gloves are a very good value and a pair that might just become your favorite. :: Paul, 02-21-13
