Our Two Cents

Here’s a jacket that could be your hot weather only jacket and it’s one anybody can afford! We bought a final closeout group of these mesh jackets from our distributor and we’ve got them priced to move! :: Paul, 07-18-14

Our previous product review: The Mojave is a mesh jacket, primarily for warm weather riding. The majority of the jacket’s shell is a mesh material that allows air to blow right through the jacket. Textile material is used in crash prone areas such as the elbows and shoulders to increase abrasion resistance. To help extend the jacket’s comfort range, you get a Dry Tech Liner as standard (Powertrip and Joe Rocket share many design features with Joe Rocket gear). The liner works great on cool mornings to take the chill off and can be easily removed and stored when it warms up. The armor in the shoulders and elbows of this jacket is a CE approved “turtle shell” molded rubber type. The back protector supplied is dual density. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see all these features. The overall cut and functionality of the jacket is very much like a sport bike jacket, but there are a few styling things meant to appeal to a street or cruiser rider (subdued styling, metallic snaps, etc).
