The Nitro jacket offers the protection of a full leather sport jacket in a slightly more casual style than most. The leather construction provides great abrasion protection and there is a stretchable textile material under the arms for added comfort and mobility. The jacket includes CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows and also a foam back pad that can be upgraded to an optional CE approved backpad (see link below). For use in colder weather, you can use the removable insulated vest liner. For warmer weather there is some zippered venting, but a black leather jacket like this will be hot in warm temperatures, so my advice would be to consider this model for cold to mild weather use. The fit of this jacket is highly adjustable (as compared to most leather styles). The sleeves, wrist closures and waist can all be adjusted for the best fit.
