Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major brands we carry, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. Being race gloves, they do fit fairly snug and should break in nicely. If you are between sizes, we would recommend choosing the larger size. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

Wow, these are some great looking gloves! Joe Rocket has really hit the ball out of the park with these. A great blend of form and function, the Speedmaster 8.0’s would be great for anyone looking for a sporty, full gauntlet glove. Most noticeable is the split carbon fiber knuckle protector, which also provides ram air ventilation. There are also some exhaust vents at the back of the hand, to let hot air out. These gloves do not have any perforations, but they should be comfortable in a good range of temperatures. Carbon fiber panels are used on the gauntlet to protect the wrist, and they add to the overall looks of the gloves as well. There are molded sliders on the back of the fingers, and the pinky gets the carbon fiber treatment also. The base of the palm has a molded slider built in, which helps prevent the gloves from catching on the pavement in a fall. We found the Speedmaster 8.0’s to be quite comfortable. They are designed to fit snug and should break in nicely. External stitching on the fingers means you don’t have seams digging into your hands, and the leather used feels soft yet tough. A wrist strap secures the gloves at the base of the hand, and the gauntlet has a double Velcro closure. Accordion style stretch panels are found at the back of the hand, base of the thumb, and the fingers. We have taken several photos of these gloves in our studio, so be sure to click the “View Larger Images” link above to check those out!
