Our Two Cents
The ARC Speedfreak leather/textile jacket has crazy graphics! Up close to the jacket, it’s hard to see what is going on, but from a distance, the graphic looks like some sort of freaky chest x-ray. The outer shell of the jacket is a textile and leather combination. A combination like this is lighter than an all-leather style, but still has the leather in key areas such as elbows and shoulders. The climate control features are pretty good. For cooler rides there is a full-sleeve insulated liner that can be installed to keep you warm. For warmer weather there are two zippered shoulder vents to provide some airflow. And the front of the jacket has some perforated leather strips (on each side of the graphic). The side of the jacket has some large expansion zippers to help keep the jacket from bunching up in the riding position, or to accommodate for a bit of a belly. For added comfort and mobility there is a stretch zone located on the back of the neck that extends down between the shoulder blades. This stretch zone helps the jacket stay comfortable when your arms are stretched out in front of you.
