HJC Cheek Pads for RPS-10 Helmets
- Riders will sometimes need to change the cheek pads that come installed in their helmets. Some people need a little more or less space, while others simply need to install a fresh set of pads for better comfort (and smell)
- The pads both come out and can be installed quite easily
- Use the chart below to figure out what size cheek pad you currently have based on your helmet size, and then pick a replacement set based on your need

Use this table to determine what cheek pad size you currently have:
|Helmet Size||Cheek Pad Size||Shell Size|
You can buy the same thickness of cheek pad if you like the fit of your helmet and just need a replacement set. Or you can buy a different thickness cheek pad to adjust fit as long as you buy a pad to fit the same shell size. The cheek pads for the XS and Small helmets are interchangeable since those two sizes share the small helmet shell size. The cheek pads for the Medium and Large helmets are interchangeable since they share a Medium shell size. The cheek pads for the XL and XXL helmets are interchangeable since they share a Large shell size.
The only exception to this rule is with one of the 30 mm cheek pads, which fit both the Medium and Large shell sizes. See the drop down menu above and note that there are two different 30 mm cheek pads, one which only will work on XS and Small helmets (the Small shell size) and the other which will fit in the Medium, Large, XL and XXL helmets (both the Medium and Large shell size). Wow; could HJC make this any more confusing?
Changing cheek pads to change the helmet fit: To get MORE room in your helmet, you need to buy a THINNER cheek pad. To get a TIGHTER fit, you need to buy a THICKER cheek pad. Example: If you have a size Large RPS-10 helmet, you have cheek pads that are 30mm thick. If the helmet is a little loose around your cheeks, a 35mm pad would give you a tighter fit.
Happy Customers Who Bought This Product
Received this helmet first thing I noticed was how light it was compared to my old Zeus ZS-3000A. One problem I did notice was the pinlock insert that came with the helmet, it had a dent. I called customer service explaining the issue, I talked to Aaron and next thing I know a new insert was being sent to me free of charge. (Read more...)
