Sizing Information

Held gloves are sold in glove sizes rather than the normal “alpha” sizes you are used to in the US. But fear not, we offer a comprehensive guide to choosing a Held glove size for you:

Held Glove Sizing

I find Held gloves to be very consistent for fit from one model to the next and these are no exception. Choose the size you wear in Held, or use the sizing advice above to choose.

Held Glove Care

Our Two Cents

Held is joining the ranks of those who make a glove that will manipulate the screen of a phone, iPod, GPS, etc with the new Held Touch glove. If you are a tech guy and a Held fan, you are now in luck! But really, the “touch” feature is not all that big of a deal anymore, and at this point, it has become a feature to include on “all” premium gloves for sport and sport touring, but I guess if you are late to the party, why not call it out, right? Oh well, let’s focus on the glove!

Like nearly every other Held glove product, this one is well built and will make a great choice for touring and street riders of all kinds. This glove has a black kangaroo palm with small perforations in the leather so it will flow some air and wick moisture very well. And the glove has some pretty substantial protection features as well: Supertech fabric in the palm and on the side of the hand, which is a super strong, “slider” type material. And on the back of the hand is a molded piece of armor by SAS-TEC. Hmmm, this knuckle protector is flexible, but more firm than the material I’m familiar with from SAS-TEC which is used in jackets and pants. It feels like it would really be effective as armor, but at the same time, it is flexible and comfortable to wear.

Other little things to like… the gloves have some expansion panels on the backs of the fingers and behind the knuckle armor to help with flexibility (and they look cool too). And I like the positive-close Velcro strap on the wrist so you know the gloves won’t fly off in an accident.

I’ve included a couple close ups of the touch pad included on the index finger and thumb. It works on the pad of the finger as well as the tip so it works pretty easily for swiping and tapping (pinching is a bit awkward though). And it works well.

Overall a very competent and sturdy glove… and one that you can use with your gadget! :: Paul, 06-25-15
