FirstGear Velocity Gloves (Black Size Medium)

These gloves are consistent with the major brands we carry, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

If you need a ventilated summer glove that actually offers a decent amount of protection, take a good look at the FirstGear Velocity gloves. The Velocity gloves use a mesh material on the back of the hand which will allow a lot of air to flow through the glove, keeping your hands cool. A lot of summer gloves stop here, and the plain mesh material does nothing to protect you in a crash. The Velocity gloves feature a molded knuckle protector with leather overlays in the fingers and behind the thumb. In addition, the backs of the fingers have some additional small molded armor and padding for impact protection. These additional protective features will make a world of difference in a crash (compared to a plain mesh glove). The palm of the Velocity gloves is made of Clarino®, which is a synthetic suede material. There is a gel pad at the base of the palm as well as a reinforced layer of material at the base of the fingers. The wrist cuff is made of neoprene, and a stretch material is used between the pre-curved fingers, which keep the gloves from feeling too tight.
