Our Two Cents
FirstGear has been a manufacturer of high quality motorcycle apparel for many years. Their Silverstone Luggage line up has a really cool look featuring Two-Tone fabric and Carbon Fiber look panels. The Silverstone Mini Tank Bag has a PVC coating with UV protection in the material, this will help slow down fading and deterioration after prolonged exposure to the sun. This tank bag features a magnetic mounting system with a non abrasive, non slip material on the underside. The top exterior pocket has a clear view window so it can be used for not only maps but electronic devices as well, there is also a rear exterior pocket for additional storage, it can expand adding another 1-1/2 inches in height, internal organizer inside the main compartment lid that has a separate cell phone pocket with a Velcro closure. A shoulder strap is included as well as the rain cover. The only downside I can see is that the map pocket is small so it would not be very helpful for most map layouts.
