Sizing Information

Below is the sizing chart as provided by Fieldsheer. The ladies in our office felt the chart fairly represented the size. The pants are a bit oversized to be worn over street clothes, so you don’t have to buy larger to wear over street clothes, but if you are between sizes, we suggest you buy the larger.

Alpha Size XS SM MD LG XL
Pant Size 2 4 6 8 10
Waist 24 26 28 30 32
Inseam Inches 30 30.5 31 31.5 32

Our Two Cents

The Mercury 2.0’s are a versatile pair of overpants which should work well in a wide variety of climates. The zip out insulated liner is easy to install and remove, and will keep you warm on colder days. When things warm up, simply remove the liner and open the thigh vents to let in some air. On really hot days, I would imagine these would get pretty warm, as the vents aren’t that large. These pants feature a full length zipper down the sides of each leg (on the outer shell and the liner), which will make them very easy to put on over boots and your regular clothes. Another great feature is the knee armor positioning system. There are basically three Velcro strips at the top and bottom of each armor pocket so that you can get the armor to stay in just the right place. An adjustable waist also helps to keep things comfortable. For nighttime visibility, there is Phoslite reflective piping around the knee area, and a nice large reflective area down by the ankles. A rainguard liner is also built into these pants to help keep you dry if you get caught in the rain. These should be a great all around pant for those who ride in varying conditions and need that versatility. Take a look at our feature pictures for closeups of these pants. You’ll see that the fit is flattering (at least as flattering as an insulated overpant can be) and the shape is tailored for the ladies. I think you’ll like them :: Paul, 06-17-13
