Sizing Information

This jacket is sold in alpha sizes so most people can choose the size they normally wear in men’s clothing. You can also go here for a conversion chart to see chest size conversions for each alpha size. If you measure yourself, we recommend you measure your chest AND belly to make sure you are selecting a jacket big enough to accommodate both. The belly size in this jacket will be about 6” less than the chest size. For example, and XL jacket will accommodate a 46” chest and will have a max belly of about 40”.

Our Two Cents

The sublimated skull graphics on this otherwise black jacket are a subtle way to set yourself apart in the crowd. Wearing this jacket, you will be able to intimidate even the fiercest of road warriors (or at the very least, scare little girls). All kidding aside, this jacket does incorporate some nice features that a rider will appreciate. Most importantly, the Skull jacket includes removable C.E. approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, and the SP Memory Foam® back pad for protection. The shoulders on this jacket have some molded rubber exterior armor pieces with a metal insert. I don’t think this armor is a big enhancement in crash protection, but it can’t hurt and it adds a bit of “wow” factor. The 600D Carbolex® outer shell is fairly standard textile jacket material, while the Rainguard® membrane (which is built in) claims to be 100% waterproof and breathable. While this jacket does have vents in the arms, shoulders, and back, the waterproof lining will somewhat reduce the effectiveness of the venting, so this is not going to be a good hot weather jacket, but it will be great for wet weather use and temps up to “warm”. There is a fully sleeved quilted liner for colder days, and while it’s not especially thick, it should get the job done. Take a look at our larger pictures to see these features and the graphics on this jacket at the above link.
