Sizing Information

Like other European based brands, we find Dainese gloves to run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is comparable to Alpinestars and REVIT. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Dainese X-Strike gloves are a well-armored short cuff glove for sport/street riders.

This glove has many of the features found on more robust Dainese racing gloves. For example, the knuckle protector is heavily padded and has the metal external pieces. And the sides of the pinkie are also heavily armored with plastic sliders and an extra layer of leather. The heel of the hand also has a hard plastic slider.

I’d recommend this glove for mild to colder weather use. These are a solid leather glove so they might get kind of warm for hot summer use. In trying the gloves on, I really like how they feel on the hand and overall they feel very secure. :: Paul, 08-14-18
