Sizing Information

We tried these jackets on our fit check mannequins and the size XL fit Dewey very well, so the sizing of this product seems consistent with ordinary men’s jacket sizing. We recommend you choose the size you normally wear.

Our Two Cents

The Cascade Soft Shell from Cortech can be worn to extend your comfort level in cooler weather, perhaps under a jacket that didn’t come with an insulated liner or just came with a vest-type liner. With its water resistant fabric, it will also help to keep you dry, as well as blocking the wind. In addition, there is an inner draw-string at the hem to cinch up the fit and help to keep the elements at bay. The full zipper makes it easy to slip on and you can adjust the fit at the sleeves with the Velcro tabs. Two zippered hand warmer pockets and the chest pockets extend your secure storage capabilities. I tried one of these jackets on myself. If you plan on wearing it alone, or under a fairly roomy jacket you’ll be fine. But if your jacket is snug (like a sport type jacket) this jacket will be too bulky underneath since it is not as form fitted as other products that are more like “underwear”. Anyway, you’ll like the feel and looks of this jacket when you are off the bike. I’d be comfortable wearing it anywhere.
