Our Two Cents
The Apex Drystar glove is a comfortable insulated waterproof glove that offers some good protection and would be great for touring or commuting. The glove has a full gauntlet that can be pulled over the sleeve of your jacket to help keep water out. There is padding on the gauntlet and the back of the hand to provide some impact protection in the event of a fall. There is also some padding and leather reinforcement in the palm for added protection. This glove has a thin layer of Thinsulate insulation which will provide moderate warmth while still providing good feel for the controls. Inside, you get a soft fleece lining which makes them very comfortable. There is also a Velcro strap at the wrist to keep the glove securely on your hand in the event of a fall. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good closeups of the glove.
