Sizing Information
This glove runs a bit small as compared to most American cut gloves. I’d peg this one last pair of XL gloves we have to fit like it is half way between a large and XL. It would compare the the fit of a European XL from Alpinestars or REVIT since they run a bit small like this.

Our Two Cents
These new Valiant gloves from AGV Sport are pretty nice. The black leather has a soft and smooth finish but is reasonably thick to provide abrasion protection. The back of the hand is protected with a substantial molded knuckle protector and there are smaller bits of foam padding under the leather over the other finger segments, which are functionally more for looks I think.
The finger seams are sewn to the outside, so the seams don’t rub on your fingers, which is my favorite kind of glove construction. I think it is called a “box” finger design. I also like the large elastic leather panel on the outside of the thumb joint which makes for a good fit, but still with full flexibility. The outside of the pinkie has an extra layer of leather to protect this injury prone area.
Other nice features are the night reflective piping (see our photos for the “night shots”) and I found the leather to be compatible with my cell phone.
