These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help. If anything, these gloves run a bit larger than usual, but not a lot, so I wouldn’t advise choosing a size down from your normal, but if you are between sizes, I’d advise to choose the smaller.

Just as an FYI, you may have previous experience with European designed brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! which run about one half size smaller, size-for-size, than the American brands. It is not a universally true fact, but generally holds for most styles. So if a particular size in either of those brands is roomy on you, then you’d probably want to go down one full size in this style.

These Tapout gloves are a combination of stretch mesh and leather. The palm-side is all leather with some reinforcement (double leather it feels like) in the palm area. The stretch mesh is used along the back and between the fingers. These gloves will be very comfortable in hot weather since the fabric will allow a lot of air flow. The gloves are lightweight and will tuck away almost anywhere. There is some “memory foam” type padding behind the Tapout logo, but that is about it for protective features for motorcycling.
