Fieldsheer Legend Gloves

These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Just as an FYI, you may have previous experience with European designed brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! which run about one half size smaller, size-for-size, than the American brands. It is not a universally true fact, but generally holds for most styles. So if a particular size in either of those brands is roomy on you, then you may be able to go down one full size in this style.

This is a special, limited time sale. The Fieldsheer products in our closeout department right now were all part of a new line of gear introduced in 2014. We really like the products (as you can see from my original review below). But about a year ago, these products were discontinued and sold by the Fieldsheer distributor for mass liquidation through limited channels (which didn’t include us). But through unlikely circumstances, some of the inventory has become available again and we are offering it at VERY GOOD prices. The Fieldsheer Legend glove is a nicely designed all-purpose leather street glove. The glove is mostly leather with the use of some textile materials which cover the various raised/padded areas such as on the gauntlet and on the backs of the fingers. The molded piece over the knuckles is a hard plastic piece covered by the same textile material. I like the way the fingers and the knuckle armor are all “free floating” meaning that when you make a fist, the pieces are connected on the front and sides but unattached on the back, which makes the glove MUCH more flexible and comfortable. Take the “View Larger Images” link above to see a couple side view shots when I make a fist and you’ll see what I mean. There is also a lot of flex material over the thumb which is welcome.

Overall a very nicely styled leather sport glove for all kinds of street riding or touring. The styling could go with just about any sort of riding style too. Oh, and I checked the function of the “Mobile Touch” feature… works fine. I sort of wish it were situated on the very ends of the thumb and finger rather than where it is because the use of it would be a bit more precise. With it on the pad of the finger end, you hide what you are trying to aim at on the screen… but anyway, it will work well enough for you for what little use you’ll have while stopped for a moment (please tell me you are stopped!). :: Paul, 09-08-14
