Sizing Information
Generally speaking, Alpinestars gloves run a bit snug as compared to other major brands we carry and this glove follows that trend as well. They don’t run snug enough to advise you to buy a size bigger than normal, especially if you prefer a snug fit, but if you find yourself between sizes, then you’ll definitely want to choose the larger. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents
The SMX-3 Air gloves from Alpinestars are a light weight, “airy” glove for use in hot weather. There are some pretty large panels of mesh material on the backs of the hand, fingers and thumb that will let a lot of air blow through. The palms are made of a synthetic suede-type material. The gloves offer just the slightest bit of protection in case of a crash. There are some padded areas on the knuckles and a couple places where there is double material in the palm. The colors are cool looking… particularly the ones with the white background. The black with white armor reminds me of the old Vanson Leathers Xray gloves. Wow… nostalgia!
