Alpinestars Sledge Gloves

These gloves are consistent with the major brands we’ve carried—Teknic, Joe Rocket, Olympia, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

The Sledge street glove is a mild to hot weather glove. The combination of perfed leather used on the back of the hand and the short cuff design should make the glove comfortable in warmer weather, but the gloves have enough reinforcements so that they feel like they’d do a pretty good job of protecting your hands in case of a fall (as compared to other summer-style gloves I should say). When trying them on, I thought they were very comfortable right from the start and even though they have a molded knuckle protector, they will still fold up into a very small package which is good for storing these gloves in a pocket. Another nice touch is that the inside of the gloves are lined so any dye bleed to your hands from the black leather will be minimized. Most short cuff styles like this are unlined.
