Our Two Cents
The Alpinestars Munich Drystar Gloves look and feel more like a fashionable winter glove than a motorcycle riding glove, but maybe that is the look they were going for. This full leather glove is insulated for warmth and also features a Drystar® lining to keep your hands dry in the rain. The only real motorcycle specific feature of these gloves is the inner portion between the thumb and palm has an extra layer of reinforcement, since that can be a high wear area on riding gloves. The thing that really stood out about these gloves is the accordion style gauntlet that extends up the wrist. The material stretched just enough to get my size large hands through the opening. Thanks to the fleece lining the wrist portion of the glove remained comfortable with only one caveat: you can’t wear a watch with these. I found the wrist to be just too tight to have a watch on underneath, and it extends up too far to have your watch just slide up out of the way.
