Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

In trying on the XL, if anything, I thought the gloves were roomy. Certainly not so much I’d advise you to buy a size smaller, but if you are between sizes and are forced to choose, I’d advise to go smaller.

Our Two Cents

I’d characterize these AGV Sport Intrepid gloves as an “entry level” race design. In comparing them to many other race gloves, they do tick most of the boxes for key protection components for the race track such as knuckle armor, beefed up materials on the side of the pinky, a full gauntlet with a positive close wrist strap and some extra palm armor material. But the pinky protection and palm armor is pretty light duty as compared to high end gloves and the overall feel is much like you’d get with a lesser cost glove for street. But considering price, they seem like a good value overall… just buy them for the right reasons… street use or very light duty amateur track use.

The fit and feel of the gloves is very nice and I think you’ll get these broken in and comfy in a jiffy. I like the double closure on the wrist gauntlet because it could be adjusted to go over a jacket sleeve or under a jacket sleeve (not just one or the other).

I also like how the finger seams are sewn to the outside… sometimes called “box” fingers. They look a bit bulky to most people, but having the cut edges to the outside makes for a very comfy glove since those cut edges aren’t against your fingers.

Overall, a nice glove and a good value for a glove that has many race features. :: Paul, 06-15-15
