The Clever Air boots from Sidi are made for hot summer use. There is a great deal of vented nylon material used in the construction of these boots, which will allow a lot of air flow. Just to make sure that the mesh areas on the boot do actually flow air (not blocked by an internal liner), I put the ‘ole lip lock on them…. and sure enough, air goes right through! Like other protective motorcycle boots, these have internal protection pieces for the ankles and shin area. There is also a plastic/rubber toe protector for shifting. The lining of these boots is loose weave soft fabric, which also helps with the comfort factor. The sole of these boots is thicker than many styles and should provide a lot of service.
