Our Two Cents

You’ll like these Traffic Rain boots by Sidi. They are very easy to put on and take off and they are comfortable. They will be ideal for all sorts of every day street riders. The side zipper entry is really fast and the shorter top of this design simplifies any concerns about calf height (because they are shorter the calf size is not much of an issue). Like every other style of Sidi boots, the fit is consistent. Sidi has offered a style like the Traffic (I can’t remember the name of previous incantations) for years. There are a lot of riders that like the look of the lug sole. They offer great stability (wide and flat), and they also offer a bit of extra height for those who may need it to comfortably touch down while in the saddle. (Speaking of height, take a look at our close up pictures for height measurements… click “View Larger Images” above). The boots have stiffener materials built into the toe and heel cup for safety and the stiffener in the toe along with an extra layer of material on top will allow you to shift without the boots breaking down. There are some round armor pieces on either side of the ankle bones. The armor pieces are installed between the outer material and the liner so you won’t even know they are there, but they’ll help in case of impact. The boots have an integral membrane to make them waterproof. The membrane will keep water out but breathe so foot moisture escapes. Overall, I really like the simplicity and functionality of this style and I bet you will too Paul :: 03-08-12
