Sizing Information

Visit our Sidi Sizing Information page for complete size conversion info (ladies can use the chart at the bottom of the page). Sidi boots typically fit very consistently from one model to the next and this boot is no exception. We feel the size chart represents the fit very well. Width is “normal”, which is C or D in US shoe sizes.

Our Two Cents

Sidi’s new Tour Air boots are made for the everyday street rider who wants a boot that really breathes in hot weather. At a glance, these boots look much like most other mid-height motorcycle boots. They have a lug sole which street and cruiser riders prefer. A sole like this is long wearing and extremely stable since the sole is just a bit wider than the foot bed. Also, a sole like this will add a bit of height to any rider’s legs which may be of help to those struggling to touch ground while in the saddle. And of course the sole is reinforced in the shank area so it won’t deform when you bear weight on the pegs.

This boot has all the standard safety and protection features; reinforced toe and heel, and the toe area has an additional bit of reinforcement where the shifter hits… there are little rubber nubbies sticking up and what feels like two thicknesses of the upper material. This area feels much more substantial than a lot of other boots of this kind. As for other protection features, there are built in impact protectors on either side of the ankle bone and a larger protector in the upper shin area.

If you take the “View Larger Images” link above you’ll see a whole slew of close-up photos. You’ll see that a good portion of the upper is made of perforated Technomicro (a brand name of man made leather). The material does indeed breathe as I gave it the ‘ole lip lock test. When I blow, I can feel my breath make it through the upper material and through the liner material to the foot. Should feel great at highway speeds!

These boots will be easy to use… a super fast side zipper/Velcro closure will let you put them on and take them off in a jiffy. The top of the shaft is somewhat adjustable with the Velcro closure too. I have pretty large calves and there was plenty of room up there.

Overall a really nice boot that I think any rider will enjoy, and one that will give some comfort in the hot summer months. :: Paul, 01-30-15
