Sizing Information

Most people can pick the size they normally wear in pants or shorts and get a good fit. As an example, I have a size XL here and measured the waistband at 35” barely stretched to 41” fully stretched. Most XL pants will be in the 38” range so that is about right.

Our Two Cents

For 2016, FirstGear has re-worked its entire line of Basegear underwear. The new line is all called 37.5 Basegear. What the heck is that you ask? The Basegear line is designed to make you more comfortable when riding by controlling the “micro climate” that exists under your clothing next to the skin. These pants are made of a “waffle weave” material that is stretchy and feels nice. The pants have flatlock seams so they are comfortable under your clothes. In the black/blue color, they have sort of a Tron look don’t you think? You’d better get a shirt to complete the outfit! The waistband has some of that grippy rubber stuff so they won’t slide around, and will work great with a shirt tucked in. :: 11-04-15
