REV'IT! Tryonic Seesoft Hip Protectors

  • In case of a crash the hips are vulnerable to take a large part of an initial impact and are very likely to slide over the pavement. Wearing hip protectors can greatly reduce the risk of injuries to your hip joints and spine by diverting and absorbing energy from a crash.
  • The TRYONIC Seesoft hip protector is made of a highly impact-resistant blend of synthetic memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE certified to the European standard: EN1621-1:2012 (level 1).
  • The TRYONIC Seesoft multi-layer concept delivers adaptive impact absorption that doesn’t compromise comfort, ventilation or flexibility.

Our Two Cents

If your REV’IT! pants have a pockets for optional hip armor AND have a little tag that says “TRYONIC” sewn alongside, these new TRYONIC hip pads are the ones you want.

REV’IT! pants made before approximately March 2014 may have pockets for hip armor and or may not include simple foam armor hip pads. The pockets for hip armor in these older style pants will NOT fit this newer style TRYONIC armor.

If you are considering using this armor in non-REV’IT! pants (and most likely modifying the pants to accommodate the armor), you can get an idea of size/shape by taking the “View Larger Images” link above because we’ve included some photos with the hip protectors with a ruler.

When you buy one “set” here, you will get two hip protectors which is all you need for one pair of pants.
