Our Two Cents
The Nelson Rigg CL-200 Expandable Touring Tail Pack is designed for either solo mounting or dual mounting. This means it can be directly connected to Nelson Rigg saddlebags making a complete luggage system that can be easily mounted/removed from the motorcycle and transported as one unit. This tail bag used in conjunction with Nelson Rigg saddlebags would give sufficient storage space for an extended road trip. The main different between the CL-200 and the CL-150 is the layout of their dimensions. The CL-200 has a narrower footprint than the CL-150 but it is slightly taller so they are almost identical in capacity. This tail bag has a fully expandable main compartment. When fully expanded, we were able to fit our multi day package inside and a leather jacket with elbow, shoulder and back armor as well! A full face helmet also fits with ease (main compartment expanded) and there’s plenty of room to spare. This bag includes a warranty registration card and is backed by Nelson Riggs lifetime no hassle warranty. I have used the CL-200 tail bag several times now, including touring, and have found it to be well made and very usefull. It attaches to my bike very easily using the integral bungee cords and stays in place. I like the dividers and pockets for storage of small items. (Read more...)
