The Rapid Transit S-5 Tank Bag is from the same family as the S-4 Tank Bag, the main difference is the shape, this S-5 has a lower profile than the S-4. Constructed of a synthetic leather exterior that is soft to the touch but rigid enough to maintain it’s shape when empty, cell phone storage separate from the main compartment, and a unique suction cup mounting system. This mounting system will work on just about any gas tank out there with the exception of some dual sport motorcycles (due to the tank shape) and cruisers with the raised center piece on the tank. Don’t let the suction cups fool you, there’s nothing weak about them. They are 2” in diameter and they are very strong. We have found that the suction cups work best on a clean, non-waxed tank. Adding some spit can increase the suction cups performance and very hot weather seems to have a negative affect on the suction cup much like windscreen mounted GPS units that use suction cups for mounting.
