Warranty Information for Customers

We sell many brands of gear and each manufacturer handles consumer warranty issues differently. We’ve put together a rundown of the warranty information for each manufacturer for your reference.

Generally, if you experience a warranty issue “right out of the box”, we will handle the issue directly with you (EXCEPT with electronic devices which are always handled directly with the manufacturer). We can arrange an exchange or return… whatever works best for you.

If you have used a product for any length of time, then the warranty process will be as described below.

100%

100% warranty covers all manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of (1) year from the original date of purchase at an authorized 100% dealer or web reseller. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an authorized 100% dealer. The product will be repaired, or replaced. If, upon inspection and it is found to be defective in materials or workmanship by 100%.

This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accident, abuse, negligence, impact, repairs or alterations outside of our facility. Warranty program does not cover scratched lenses. Scratched lenses are not covered under 100%’s warranty policy.

Please be sure to include in the package the correctly filled WRA form, which will be emailed back to you. The customer returning product for consideration is responsible for the freight coming to 100%. If the product is deemed a warranty issue 100% will pay the freight to return the product to you by normal ground transportation.

First Step
If you desire to return product for service or warranty consideration, you will need to email CustomerService@ride100percent.com or call 619-876-4202 in order to get a WRA number (Warranty Return Authorization Number) and shipping address. All products shipped to 100% without this WRA Number will be refused.

AGV (Helmets)

The AGV warranty has a validity of 5 years. The AGV warranty covers any type of manufacturing defect or faulty materials used to manufacture the product.

Any failure of the product to satisfy your expectations, however caused, may not be considered as a defect for purposes of this warranty. The AGV warranty is excluded if the date of the claim falls later than 7 years after the date of the manufacture of the product. The warranty does not cover the accessories that are covered by statutory warranty.

The warranty does not cover, under any circumstances, damages deriving from: improper use; normal wear and tear; tampering; incorrect maintenance of the helmet and the components such as the visor, its interior, the chin strap and the varnish and/or incorrect storage of the product; negligence or lack of care; damage caused by falling and/or accidents, or by alterations caused by external causes, including any repairs performed by unauthorized people; damages caused by other factors/actions beyond the control of AGV; subjective assessments of the user, such as comfort, noise, aerodynamics, whistling, etc.; damage caused by prolonged exposure to sources of light/uv rays (for example, in particular, to the fluorescent varnishes) and/or heat.

LIMITATIONS – The warranty does not cover AGV products you may have purchased which do not comply with the regulations in force in the country of use.

LOSS OF THE WARRANTY- The use and the assembly of unauthorized accessories causes the immediate loss of the warranty.

AGV Sport

COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS – All gloves, textile jackets, textile pants, and Kevlar jeans have a 1 year warranty from the original date of purchase. All leather jackets, leather suits, and leather pants have a 2 year warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty does not cover damages as a result of the following: racing damage, weather damage, weather aging, normal wear and tear, atmospheric damage, accident damage, or any misuse whatsoever.

Alpinestars

Arai

All Arai helmets are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, and are serviceable only for the properly fitted first user for 5 years from date of first use, but no more than 7 years from date of manufacture. It should be replaced within 5 years of first use.

Warranty Policy and Procedures Arai helmets are warranted as serviceable only for the properly fitted first user, for 5 years of use, but no more than 7 years from date of manufacture, for materials and workmanship. It should be replaced within 5 years of first use. Significant paint fading within the first year of use will be covered by the warranty, but fading claims submitted after 12 months from date of purchase will be handled on a pro-rated basis, based on the 60 months of the 5 year warranty period. Should it be determined that the helmet is to be replaced under the prorated warranty, the purchase price will be divided by the 60 month warranty period and all months, including the first 12, will be counted as serviceable and deducted from the replacement value of the new helmet. Warranty is based on a manufacture defect,, not from a crash, hit, drop, etc., and the consumer needs to call the Pa. office at 1-610-366-7220 Mon.-Fri. 9-5 or open an account on our new website, www.araiamericas.com, and open a ticket to discuss if there is a warranty or not.

Bell Helmets

If at any time you are unsure or have questions about your Bell helmet’s condition, you can send it to Bell for a free inspection. Our technician will thoroughly inspect your helmet, note any damage found and make our recommendations on whether the helmet should continue to be used. Call Bell Helmets at 800-456-2355 or e-mail Bell Helmets at consumersupport@bellsports.com for more details on this free service. Any Bell helmet determined by Bell to be defective in materials or workmanship within one (1) year from the date of original purchase will be repaired or replaced, at Bell’s option, free of charge when received at the factory freight prepaid, together with proof of purchase.

Biltwell

Biltwell motorcycle parts and accessories are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from date of purchase. This warranty does not include failure due to improper assembly by the end user, normal wear and tear, or general neglect. Surface finish imperfections and/or surface degradation due to aging and weather are not covered by this warranty.

If you aren’t confident installing or assembling any Biltwell product, please consult a motorcycle mechanic or fabrication professional. Due to the wide range of custom applications and methods of assembly for Biltwell products, is not responsible for damage to your person or property due to improper installation and/or human error.

To obtain warranty service you will need the following.

1) Include your full name, phone number, email and shipping address on a letter, and attach proof of purchase for our reference (invoice, bill of sale, cash receipt, etc.) No warranty claims will be considered without return of merchandise authorization and proof of purchase. NO EXCEPTIONS.

2) Pack the product with cover letter, proof of purchase and return merchandise authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the box in a tightly packed, well-sealed box.

3) Return the product to Biltwell via UPS, FedEx or any other carrier that requires signature for delivery confirmation. We cannot be responsible for returned merchandise lost in transit. Ship to the address below.

Black Brand

All Black Brand products are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects and materials for a specified period of time. The warranty varies by product and is stated on each product. Should a warranty claim arise, return the item with proof of purchase, to the Black Brand US supplier (Tucker Rocky/Bikers Choice) for inspection. The US supplier will forward your claim for evaluation by Black Brand. If the product is found to be defective by Black Brand it will be repaired and returned to you postpaid. If we determine that the product cannot be repaired, we will arrange a replacement at no charge to you. This warranty sets forth in full, the complete liabilities and obligations of Black Brand in respect to breach of warranty. You can register your products for warranty here.

All products sent for warranty evaluation must have an RGA number (Return Goods Authorization) to administer tracking of your product. Contact the Black Brand US supplier (Tucker Rocky/Bikers Choice) directly to receive your RGA number. Warranty questions may be directed to the Black Brand supplier at 1-866-302-5676.

Chatterbox

Chatterbox USA guarantees that each new Chatterbox will be free from defective materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. Chatterbox will remedy any such defect by repair or replacement (at our discretion) of the products, provided they are delivered to the address listed below, intact for examination, with all transportation charges prepaid and accompanied by a copy of the original retail sales receipt. The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any unit which has been subject to misuse, neglect, incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, accident, water damage, or has been repaired or altered outside of our factory. The express warranty contained herein is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed, implied or statutory, including without imitation any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use. In no event will Chatterbox be liable to the buyer for any damages, including special, incidental, indirect, or consequential.

Cortech by Tour Master

Tour Master/Cortech has the right to repair or replace, at their option, any product they feel does not meet their standards up to one year from the original date of purchase. The item will need to be returned to the original dealer the product was purchased from. The dealer will work directly with Tour Master/Cortech to manage the warranty process.

Dragon

Dragon products are warrantied against all manufacturer defects for two years. Dragon does not warranty against lost items or lenses against scratching. Warranty is valid only if purchased through an authorized Dragon dealer. All Dragon products are in accordance with the EEC directive 89/686, for the I.P.D. of category 1 corresponding to the European Community directive.

Fieldsheer

Fieldsheer has the right to repair or replace, at their option, any product they feel does not meet their standards up to one year from the original date of purchase. 5-Year Warranty on Armored Apparel Note: FirstGear materials and workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, crashes or the natural breakdown of materials over time. 2-Year Warranty on Gloves, Footwear and Non-Armored Apparel FirstGear materials and workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, crashes or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products must be returned to FirstGear for evaluation. If they find your FirstGear product has failed due to a materials or workmanship defect, they will repair, or replace, the product at their discretion without charge. 1-Year Warranty on Raingear FirstGear materials and workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, crashes or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products must be returned to FirstGear for evaluation. If they find your FirstGear product has failed due to a materials or workmanship defect, they will repair, or replace, the product at their discretion without charge. Limited Lifetime Warranty on Luggage FirstGear luggage is warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. Please register your product at http://firstgear-usa.com/registration. Note: FirstGear materials and workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, crashes or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products must be returned to FirstGear for evaluation. If they find your FirstGear product has failed due to a materials or workmanship defect, they will repair, or replace, the product at their discretion without charge.

2-Year Crash Warranty on TPG Armored Apparel In addition to their 5-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, FirstGear TPG jackets, pants and gloves have an additional 2-year crash warranty. For a period of two years from date of purchase, if your FirstGear TPG jacket, pants or gloves are damaged due to a crash, they will support you by offering a free replacement of the same or similar item. Just send them the damaged gear, a copy of the police report and any feedback you would like to offer on product performance. You will receive a replacement free of charge. Fly Racing

Fly Racing apparel is warranted for one year to the original owner against manufacturing defects and workmanship. If a Fly Racing products fails due to manufacturing defect or workmanship, Fly Racing will repair the product, or replace it, at their discretion. If the product cannot be repaired or replaced a credit will be offered through the authorized dealer where the product was purchased. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear or the natural breakdown of colors and materials.

Held

Schuberth North America is now the distributor of Held GORE-TEX protective apparel, award winning gloves, tank bags and waterproof duffel bags within the United States, and will also handle Held service and warranty inquiries. Warranty claims will not be considered if the goods are damaged or destroyed by force majeur or environmental influences, damage caused by improper handling or care, the goods having mechanical damage of any kind or the product has not been expertly repaired.

HJC Helmet

HJC hereby extends a limited warranty to the purchaser of HJC helmets that the helmet is free of defects in materials and workmanship. Coverage This warranty is applicable for manufacturer’s defects only and is good for three years from the date of purchase. (RPHA series are subject to five year limited warranty. It does not apply to any problems arising out of wearer’s misuse, negligence, modifications, accident, etc). Disclaimer Any warranty of merchantability and any implied warranty are hereby expressly disclaimed. In addition, HJC shall not be liable for any consequential damages.

Icon

Icon is 100% committed to creating quality performance riding products and they’re always interested in receiving input from their valued customers. All Icon products are warranted for a period of 1 year from date of purchase against any defects in materials and workmanship. As riders, they know that their products are subject to severe conditions and stress. If you experience a problem with one of their products they want to know about it. They kindly request you return your product to the dealer where you originally purchased it (along with your original sales receipt). Your dealer will assist you with returning your product to their distributor, Parts Unlimited. They will then evaluate your claim based on their findings.

Joe Rocket

All Joe Rocket gear is covered for a One (1) year period from the date of purchase (from an Authorized Dealer) to the Original Retail Purchaser. Warranty covers factory defects such as defective seams, snap failure and/or zipper failure. Items returned to Joe Rocket for Warranty Consideration must be accompanied by a copy of the Original Purchase Receipt and when possible, the item should be cleaned before returning unless cleaning would further compromise the defect or damage the product (such as damaging waterproofing). Joe Rocket will REPAIR zippers, snaps and most seam failures. Items will only be replaced if it cannot be repaired. Freight to the Joe Rocket warranty location will be the product owner’s responsibility, return freight will be covered by Joe Rocket to US destinations only. International customers are responsible for all shipping and other incurred expenses such as duties, taxes…etc. Items typically NOT covered by warranty are failures or damage due to crashing, contact with hot surfaces such as exhaust pipes, cuts by sharp objects and fading caused by exposure to sunlight for long periods. If there is a question of whether the item is covered, please be certain to contact a warranty representative or customer service BEFORE sending the product in for review.

Mobile Warming

All non-electrical components of the garment are warranted free from factory defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. If there is anything wrong with the sewing or materials of any Mobile Warming product you purchased from them within the first two years that was due to their negligence or mistake, or if any problem develops during the first two years, the product will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Mobile Warming. The batteries have a 90 day warranty from the date of purchase. The item will need to be returned to the original dealer the product was purchased from. The dealer will work directly with Mobile Warming to manage the warranty process.

Moose Racing

Moose Racing is 100% committed to creating quality performance riding products and Moose Racing is always interested in receiving input from our valued customers. All Moose Racing products are warranted for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase against any defects in materials and workmanship. We kindly request you return your product to the dealer where you originally purchased it (along with your original sales receipt).

Nolan

All NOLAN HELMETS are covered by a 5-year limited warranty.

NOLAN N-COM products are covered by a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. We are required by Nolan to direct all warranty issues to their N-Com division, this goes for all troubleshooting situations as well.

If you are having a problem with your Nolan N-Com system, need help with setup or feel like something just isn’t working right, contact Nolan’s N-Com division through their website or by phone 1-630-701-1601.

Power Trip

All Power Trip gear is covered for a One (1) year period from the date of purchase to the Original Retail Purchaser. Warranty covers factory defects such as defective seams, snap failure and/or zipper failure. Items returned to Power Trip for Warranty Consideration must be accompanied by a copy of the Original Purchase Receipt and when possible, the item should be cleaned before returning unless cleaning would further compromise the defect or damage the product (such as damaging waterproofing). Power Trip will REPAIR zippers, snaps and most seam failures. Items will only be replaced if it cannot be repaired. Freight to the Power Trip warranty location will be the product owner’s responsibility, return freight will be covered by Power Trip to US destinations only. International customers are responsible for all shipping and other incurred expenses such as duties, taxes…etc. Items typically NOT covered by warranty are failures or damage due to crashing, contact with hot surfaces such as exhaust pipes, cuts by sharp objects and fading caused by exposure to sunlight for long periods. REV’IT!

REV’IT! apparel is warranted for one year to the original owner against manufacturing defects and workmanship. If a REV’IT! products fails due to manufacturing defect or workmanship, REV’IT! will repair the product or replace it, at their discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear or the natural breakdown of colors and materials

All REV’IT! products sold in the US & Canada will now be eligible for an extended two-year warranty. All REV’IT! products will automatically carry the same one-year warranty, but your customers now have the option of registering their products (for free) for an additional year of coverage. Online registration can be accessed at www.revitsport.com/usa-warranty for US customers and www.revitsport.com/ca-warranty for Canadian customers. These sites are only valid for items purchased in the US or Canada.

The two-year warranty may be applied retroactively for any purchases made in the past two years. Regardless of registration, all warranty claims must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase.

River Road

River Road materials and workmanship warranties do not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, crashes or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products must be returned to River Road for evaluation. If they find your River Road product has failed due to a materials or workmanship defect, they will repair, or replace, the product at their discretion without charge.

Leather Jackets/Chaps: 2 year Warranty

Textile Jackets/Pants: 1 year Warranty

Gloves: 1 year Warranty

Boots: 1 year Warranty

Luggage: 1 year Warranty

Scorpion

Scorpion EXOWear™ is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years on Leather, 3 years on Textile, 1 year on Mesh products, and 1 year on gloves from original date of purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of parts and the necessary labor and services required to repair the item. Normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.

Scorpion helmets are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship. Please see chart below for model and warranty period. Faceshields are warranted for 1 year from original purchase date; this warranty is limited to the repair and replacement of parts and the necessary labor and services required to repair the helmet. Normal wear and tear is not covered by this warranty. The Scorpion helmets carry ether a 3 YEAR PURCHASE / 5 YEAR MANUFACTURE DATE or 5 YEAR PURCHASE / 7 YEAR MANUFACTURE DATE warranty. IMPORTANT NOTE: All dyed/pigmented fabrics, polycarbonites (ie: helmets) and vinyl will fade under UV exposure (sunlight) over time. Scorpion fabrics are highly UV resistant, but HI-VIS fabrics will fade at a faster rate than normal fabrics under the same UV exposure. This is a normal property of all HI-VIS pigments/fabrics and is not considered a manufacturer defect.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SCORPION SPORTS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION AND EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

The product may be returned directly to Scorpion Sports, Inc. Warranty Dept. for inspection (freight prepaid). Requests for Return Authorizations (RMA) should be requested via telephone at (888) 672-6774 or email warranty@scorpionusa.com. If the exact model of helmet in question is discontinued or no longer available, a model of equal or better value will be offered at the discretion of Scorpion Sports, Inc.

Sena

Two Years Limited Warranty

Sena Technologies, Inc. (“Sena”) warrants that this product (“Product”) shall conform to and perform in accordance with published technical specifications and the accompanying written materials, and shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship, for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser of the Product. The limited warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser of the Product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end-user. This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement, at Sena’s discretion, of defective or non-conforming Product, and Sena shall not be responsible for the failure of the Product to perform specified functions, or any other non-conformance caused by or attributable to: (a) any misapplication or misuse of the Product; (b) failure of Customer to adhere to any of Sena’s specifications or instructions; (c) neglect of, abuse of, or accident to, the Product; or (d) any associated or complementary equipment or software not furnished by Sena. Limited warranty service may be obtained by delivering the Product to Sena or to the international distributor it was purchased through and providing proof of purchase or receipt date. Customer agrees to insure the Product or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit, to prepay shipping charges to Sena, and to use the original shipping container or equivalent.

Shoei

Shoei helmets are covered under warranty for five years from purchase date or seven years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects. Please note that damage caused by the consumer, (i.e. dropping the helmet), etc., is not covered under warranty.

Sidi

SIDI WARRANTY POLICY: Motonation guarantees its footwear and products to be free from defect in materials or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase for the original owner. A product recognized as defective by Motonation will be repaired or replaced at Motonation’s discretion. You must establish proof of purchase to obtain warranty service or replacement. Motonation will only warranty products purchased from authorized SIDI dealers within the Unites States and its territories as well as Canada. Certain authorized retailers do sell our products online, or through online auction sites, when in accordance with our regulations. In order for the warranty to apply to online purchases, an itemized receipt from that dealer must be included. If you are not sure if the seller is an authorized SIDI dealer, please contact the seller and request a physical address and account name. Whether this is an authorized SIDI dealer must be verified through our customer service at 619-401-4100. If the seller does not provide this information, then our warranty does not apply to this product. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties. Any implied warranties of merchant-ability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the same duration as this express warranty. Motonation is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover any representation or warranty made by a dealer beyond the provisions of this warranty. If you are asked to return your boots or shoes for service, please remove any non SIDI items such as cleats or insoles. Any extra items will only be returned by request at the owner’s expense.

The Motonation warranty does not cover: 1. Products without an invoice or sales receipt, which makes it impossible to establish the date and origin of sale, and also due to the risk of illegal or illicit provenance (e.g. stolen, sold in violation of the fiscal regulations, etc.). 2. Products that have reached the end of their normal life cycle. 3. Damage due to accidents, negligence, misuse, corrosion, incorrect installation, improperly performed repairs, use of incompatible spare parts or components, unapproved modifications or normal wear and tear. 4. Consumable materials including heel pads, mechanical enclosures, replacement treads, soles etc. 5. Any expenditure related to the transport of the product to and from an authorized Service Center. 6. Labor costs associated with removing the product from the shoe, and preparing it for shipment. 7. Compensation for inconvenience associated with not being able to use the product while being repaired or replaced.

Speed and Strength

Speed and Strength 1 year warranty on materials and workmanship does not cover damage caused by improper care, accident, crashes or the natural breakdown of materials over time. Products must be returned to Speed and Strength for evaluation. If they find your Speed and Strength product has failed due to a materials or workmanship defect, they will repair, or replace, the product at their discretion without charge.

Please ensure your product is clean (according to label care instructions) before returning. All products sent for warranty evaluation must have an RGA number (Return Goods Authorization) to administer tracking of your product. Contact Speed and Strength directly to receive your RGA number. TCX Boots

TCX products are covered by a 1 year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. Details of this limited warranty are available through TCX. This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, negligence, improper use or care, accident, or unusual exposures. All warranty determinations will be made by TCX, which reserves the right to repair, replace, or issue credit for valid warranty returns in line with the TCX warranty policy. TCX shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

UCLEAR-Digital controller units are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for two(2) years from the original date of purchase. Accessories are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one(1) year from the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase (receipt or credit card statement) must be provided. UCLEAR-Digital’s sole obligation in the event of such defects during the warranty period is to repair or replace the defective part or product with a comparable part or product at UCLEAR-Digital’s discretion. Except for such repair or replacement, the sale, processing or other handling of this product is without warranty, condition or other liability even though the defect or loss is caused by negligence or other fault.
