- Should also work on Ducati Monsters, Honda CBR600F4i/RR/1000RR, Kawasaki Ninja 250R, ZX6R/RR, Suzuki GSXR600/750, Yamaha R6/R1
- OEM/Stock license plate brackets that protrude far beyond the rear tail light (like the CBR1000RR 2008 and up models) may not fit in this size
- Luggage like saddlebags will require going up a size
- Should work on small cruisers like Sportsters with no windscreens or luggage
Size Large on a Kawasaki
ER6N
Size Large on a Kawasaki Versys
(If saddlebags were being used size X-Large would be necessary)

- Luggage like saddlebags may not affect the size choice on the ER6N but motorcycles on the larger side of the size large spectrum like the ZRX will require going up a size
Size X-Large on a Suzuki Hayabusa
- Should also work on Kawasaki ZX14R, Suzuki B-King
- Luggage like saddlebags should not affect the size choice unless they are a large touring style
- May work on small cruisers with no windscreens
Size X-Large on a
BMW G650GS
- Should also work on BMW F650GS and F800GS
- Luggage like saddlebags will most likely prevent this size from fitting
- Rear/top trunks will require size XXL
Size X-Large on a Suzuki Burgman 400
- Should also work on Kymco Exciting 50, Yamaha Majesty
- Backrest pads will prevent this size from cover the exhaust
- Luggage like saddlebags will most likely prevent this size from fitting
- Rear/top trunks will require the XXL size
Unfortunately we are all sold of the XX-Large size in this Defender 3000 cover, we are using these photos for sizing reference.
Nelson Rigg discontinued the Defender 3000 (Grey/Silver) and continued production on the Black/Silver version of this cover, the Defender 2000 which has all the same features and quality, it’s literally the same exact cover besides the color. So if you need size XX-Large, check out the Defender 2000.
Size XX-Large on a Honda Goldwing
Size XX-Large on a Ultra Classic
- The XX-Large size works on the following motorcycles with or without the rear top trunk; BMW R1200GS, Honda ST1100/1300, Kawasaki Concours 14, Suzuki V-Strom, Yamaha FJR1300
- The XX-Large size is your only option if you have a rear top trunk regardless of what motorcycle you have, even the Suzuki Burgman scooter with a rear top trunk needs the XX-Large.
- Should work on mid-full size cruisers with windscreens and luggage
