These are good boots for entry level track riding, canyon carving, or sport touring. They were positioned above the SMX-5 but below the SMX-Plus in the alpinestars line. Overall these boots are in great shape except for the scuffing where the boot meets the shifter on my bike. The boots do have a protected reinforced area for the shift lever but for some reason, I guess because of my small foot and the long lever on my bike, that small area was worn on. Otherwise the boots have no other damages. They include toe sliders and utilize a zipper and ratchet closure system.

The customer choose “Fair” as the condition, but I’d say they are better than that. they’ve been broken in some but for the most part they look great. I’d say $160 is a pretty good price.
